I'm not generally an artsy-crafty kind of person, but when you suddenly have two preschoolers who have a lot of energy and need things to do...you start to stretch in some areas. :)
This last Monday, in an effort to get our extraverted and energetic selves out of the house, we took a nature walk in a nearby park. The kids collected pretty leaves and acorns and duck feathers, climbed trees and chased squirrels and ducks for the morning, and then we used those items to make "Happy Fall" artwork for the house.
So technically, fall doesn't start until September 22 at 10:49am EDT (really, almanac, to the minute?). But Starbucks started serving Pumpkin Spice Lattes on September 1, and that's good enough for me!

Ha! I agree completely! I was able to sip a pumpkin latte while I grocery shopped and already am in Fall mode. Such a cute fall tree idea!
